Red Sox manager, Terry Francona, has confirmed the presence of Wily Mo in place of injured right fielder J.D. Drew. Unfortunately, the game has been pushed to tomorrow on the account of a tornado which formed off of Wily Mo's batting practice swings.
Wily Mo aims to take advantage of his natural abilities against Detroit Tiger's left-handed pitcher Mike Maroth. Maroth is 3-0 on the year with all his wins coming on the road -- where he also holds a 4.50 ERA.
Maroth comes into the 1st feature in tomorrow's double-header with a 4.38 ERA and 3 K's and 4 BB's over 12.1 innings of play during the month of May with opposing batters hitting a sizeable .382 against him. Boston's Wily Mo is batting .462 for May. Wily Mo has never faced the 6'0" Orlando, Florida native so this could be an interesting evening for both of them! The Boston line-up is: | Batting Order | Player | Avg vs Maroth | | 1 | Julio Lugo
| .364 | | 2 | Coco Crisp
| .200 | | 3 | David Ortiz
| .111 | | 4 | Manny Ramirez | .444 | | 5 | Kevin Youkilis
