In Wily Mo's 2nd game with the Washington Nationals, he hit a tremendous home run off of New York Mets righthander Orlando Hernandez. The ball went to far into the upper deck in left center. Peña started the game in right field.
How did the Boston right fielder JD Drew perform? Well, pinch-hitting for another great Red Sox prospect Bobby Kielty, Drew left the bat on his shoulder for 6 straight pitches. K. You're out. Inning over and never mind the tying runners you stranded on base... Wily Mo watches it go deep!
