Wily Mo is a Met! The New York Mets today announced that they have signed outfielder Wily Mo Pena to a minor league contract. Pena will join Buffalo (AAA) of the International League.
Pena has a career .253 batting average, with 67 doubles, five triples, 77 home runs, and 225 RBI in 560 major league games with the Reds, Red Sox, and Nationals. Ironic that the unofficial Wily Mo headquarters is New York? RIght?! Go Wily Mo!!! |
