JB burns hand on baseball!

Oh my what a game he was having! After the 4th, he had struck out 7 Orioles with only 2 runs allowed on 2 hits. Our omnipresent reporters claim he got a heat blister from touching the baseball too quickly after throwing what appeared to be over 250 mph!

Terry took Josh Beckett out after the 4th Innning as a precaution. Rumor has it that Tek was wearing an asbestos glove to protect himself from the heat of the fastball but JB said his mother wouldn't allow asbestos in the house, hence, the burn to his middle finger.

Too bad Wily Mo doens't pitch middle relief! Problem solved, right?
