Baltimore improved to 10-5 vs. the AL East with a win against the Red Sox. The Sox loaded the bases in the 8th but only managed to push across one run. With 1 out, our man Wily Mo Pena was stood down in favor of JD Drew who lined out. Had Wily Mo been able to hit, a grand slam was a near certainty but our hero took his seat and let fate run its course. Oh well Wily, you'll get 'em next time!! |

With the bases loaded and 1 out in the bottom of the 7th inning vs Baltimore, Wily Mo was robbed of a chance to hit a certain grand slam. Slugger Wily was bumped for J.D. Drew (whom we also think it a hitting machine of a mofo). Drew hit the ball near enough for Tejada to make a nice play. Should have kept in Wily Mo!! Right!??! |
